@Lindsey Ceane

I am scared! The music will stop.

If it comes to that then just I’ll rent and find another investment vehicle.

Not to play devil advocate but the people in Scandinavian countries are some of the happiest in the world. Just saying.

Is $11K in the ballpark for refinancing a mortgage and a home equity loan totaling $210K. The total will be $221K with closing cost and everything else wrapped in. 30 yrs fixed 4.40% Thanks.

@Luis Limon thank you for your input. I wasn’t sure if what they were offering was legit and comparable to everyone else.

@Alexander Sharp thanks for info and responding. We’re strangers but you’re why I am here. Will shop your option when I talk to another lender.

@Nathan G. As a newbie, thank you so much for responding. It makes me feel welcome. Personally, I don’t like mixing family with business. But my parents are broke (no savings) and near retirement.

My other siblings took over paying for their life insurances since they can’t afford those payments anymore. My parents owe about $8K in credit card debt. Things are that bad. They’ll probably have to get the equity out of the house and downsize to something where they’ll be comfortable financially. I’m just gonna have to be a bit creative with my endeavors to help them out.
