I own one in Cedar Park as my primary home, since I have a school age kid. The other one is just a pure investment at 78753 at east Austin, which is 5 min away from Muller. That area is blooming, but for investment, you'll definitely need to do a lot of work, by either hiring someone or do some of the work yourself. You know how hard it is to find a reliable contractor in Austin :)

Congrats @Account Closed , and it's amazing that you've already owned 3 or 4 homes at this age. I bought one SFH in Cedar Park and another one in East Austin (Muller) area in the past two years.

@Account Closed @Gurmohanjit Singh, If you are looking for one in Austin with less maintenance, then I highly suggest you looking at 78727 zip code near parmer and mopac, or 78729 at a relatively lower price range. Right now I'm also looking for deals at 78727 for myself and my friends. If you don't mind some flipping work, then you can check out east and south Austin, which could appreciate more in a shorter time.

Thank you all for the help and great suggestions!

When I first moved into Austin in 2015, I accidentally rented a townhome 5 min away from Domain. I love love that area and has envisioned the growth of it even in just the past few years. So many software companies are renting their office there. I've bought one primary house and one investment, which has been totally rehabbed thanks to the help from my husband. As an investor and a sales agent, I know there is still a lot I need to learn. I would love to connect with you all!

@Joe Scaparra , would you like to share some experience about finding sub-contractors? I have had mixed experience since it's hard to find reliable sub-contractors due to Austin market being so hot.

@Aristotle Kumpis, the house has been renovated, so my potential buyers will be people who will move in themselves. I thought staging may help attract more buyers hopefully, just like most people like model homes.

Hi All, I'm considering selling my 1st investment house in east Austin, and would like some recommendation for a staging company. And how much should I expect to spend? The house is around 1000 sqft with 3b/1b, and I'm planning to only have the living/master/kitchen staged due to limited budget. I've contacted two companies. The first one asked for $1500/ first month + $800/ each month to renew. The 2nd one is recommended by a friend, and it's $1800/ first month + $200-$250/ month to renew, but the owner is not very responsive. Any help is appreciated!!
