So the shared common spaces are all good size and not cramped. 3 people will be sharing one bathroom.

Wanted to get people's thoughts on small bedrooms when house hacking or just renting out by room. The room is 9' x 9', 81 square feet total. Anyone have experience with renting out small rooms?

@Manish Agarwal yup those are good points. So are you cash flowing at all by renting to a single family?

@Rogelio M. So I decided to pass on the house but from what I could tell, I couldn’t find a good place to add a third bathroom. I’ll definitely consider that when looking at places with only 2 full baths in the future.

@Rogelio M. I thought about doing that but it doesn’t seem like it would since the bedrooms are all upstairs

@Joe Splitrock I'll definitely look into local occupancy laws. I didn't consider some things like the refrigerator space so that's helpful. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with house hacking a 5 bedroom 2 bathroom property? I'm thinking that 4 people sharing one bathroom is not ideal but want to know if anyone has done it before and their experience.
