Hi Ryan,

I'm a newbie investor as well, but I thought I might offer up some advice.

Why not simply have a chat with the neighbour? Perhaps take some beers over and plan for a longer chat. You could ask him if he knows anyone looking to sell their house in the next few months as you're looking for buy some property. Get in with him before other buyers do and form that personal connection. He might just offer up his own property, especially when you mention you're looking to do a cash deal.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Cheers

Hey Chris,

Agreed! Doesn't feel like you're swimming in the pool alone when we find others. Thanks so much for the encouragement. Let me know if you guys are getting together for coffee or whatnot anytime soon.

Cheers!

Sounds great, Richard!

If I can help you out, let me know as well. Always good to meet fellow investors in the same city.

Cheers!

Hi Anthony!

Eventually, I'd like to buy and hold ... I'm not sure if it'll be right away. Perhaps you have some suggestions on this?

Otherwise, I'm thinking some wholesaling to begin with (build up some pocket money) and hoping to get into some flips pretty quick.

Again, always willing to take suggestions or advice.

Cheers!

Hi everyone,

I've been working with real estate agents and builders for the past decade, or so, writing, and editing, their websites, blogs, as well as marketing materials. I've had a blast doing so. Of course, once you get that close to the industry, you naturally want to make some of the money they do.

My interests were peaked once again. I've decided to start using my research and analytical skills to do some investing myself. With this said, I'm new to the investing side, and I'm looking to make some great connections and help out where I can.

Let's connect! I'm working in both the Edmonton and area (Alberta) and the New Haven County (Connecticut) markets.

Cheers,

Sherry

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the New Haven CT market, and I'm hoping to connect with a few fellow investors in the area. I'm also on the lookout for General Contractors and Title Companies to connect with in order to get some deals closed.

Thanks for being such a great community!

Cheers,

Sherry

Hi @Account Closed, I'm in Edmonton AB, with a focus on both Edmonton's market and state-side. Good luck with the Montreal market - it is a beautiful city!
