Please don't assume that procrastination played a role @wayne brooks.  The short sale law firm was in communication with the bank to make them aware of the active short sale contract pending and the foreclosure was not supposed to go through but the short sale contract was going to be accepted.  The were informed via email the next day from the short sale law firm that the foreclosure took place.  The short sale contract offer was actually more than what the bank settled for.  They may not be under any obligation but is it possible that the left hand didn't know or wasn't aware what the right hand was doing?.....and @Brett Goldsmith would the bank not knowing about the short sale contract pending a damn good reason?

I would like to know if a foreclosure and can be reversed if a short sale contract was submitted but the foreclosure went through anyway.  Who decides if a property is foreclosed or short sale contract accepted.

Thank you

I understand that as a landlord, the security deposit is supposed to be in deposited into an interest bearing account. What is the percentage that is supposed to be earned on this deposit?

Hello.......I am and new landlord and understand that security deposits should go into an interest bearing checking or savings account. If so, what is the percentage that the deposit should be earning generally and are these accounts easy to open/find?

@J Scott

Also, if you are still in Maryland, do you suggest any good meetups to attend? I am a newbie in Baltimore City.

In wholesaling, who is the assignor and who is the assignee?
