Post: Moving multiple houses on one property?

I have recently acquired 4 acres and plan to move 8 homes onto the property. ( 1/2 acre per house.) I am curious if anyone has experience with this. If so, is there any problems you ran into I should be worried about? Would each house have its own address or share one? Are there any kind of special permits I would need? I’m not sure who to talk to for these questions here locally. I know if anyone can answer my questions, this is the place. The property is located in southeast Texas, if that’s helps. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the reply! I am done with flips. That was phase one to build capital. On one of my flips we owner financed at 10% interest. That house brings me in about $600/month. That is what really opened my eyes. From now on, I’m only doing buy and hold. I have set same goal with $4000/month. I love your advice on how to map it out so that you can stay on track.

Thank you again

Thank you for your reply! I’m not sure on the meter. It will definitely be an investment property. Asking price is 195,000. According to comps I can rent for around 2,400. Im leaning towards conventional and do 20% down to avoid pmi. Hopefully I can work out something with seller with an owner finance.

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Shelby Cucco. I am 27 years old, married to my amazing wife Candice who is a real estate agent. That is what really turned me on to real estate. In the past couole years we have flipped 5 houses. All starting with credit cards. Now that we are starting to build some capital Im seeing the bigger picture. We are currently looking to buy our first rental property with the goal of owning our first apartment complex by 30. I listen to 4-5 podcasts a day trying to soak up as much information as possible. Looking forward to meeting fellow investors and networking.

Thank you

Hello everyone my name is Shelby Cucco. I’m new to BiggerPockets. So glad I found it, there is so much information to soak in here. I have a question on financing. I am looking at a property that has a single family home and a duplex on the same property. My question is which type of bank loan would let me put the smallest amount down? Not sure which type of loans I can get since there are multiple houses on site. Or is it better to put 20% down? Everyone’s response very appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Shelby Cucco
