I agree with Christina on what she has shared and especially reaching out to meet up groups. I am a newbie real estate investor trying to do the same thing as far as starting with wholesale to get some capital and eventually get into rehab and rentals.
I attended my first local meet up last night. It was a great experience and the connections you can make with other investors are awesome. They started the meeting with an intro period allowing everyone in the group to give their name and what they focus on in investing. At this point you have an idea of who the rehabbers are, buy and hold, other wholesalers, Realtors, and so on. This helps you, so, at the end during the networking you know exactly who to reach out to and exchange info. I found this meet-up group thru the meet-up app.
It is a great opportunity and I would recommend finding and attending as many as you can. It is a great networking opportunity to find other investors in your area that you can work with and learn the tricks of the trade.
