@David J Warrick Jr just wondering if you settled on an accountant yet as I am looking for a recommendation as well.

@Royston Lobo Hi there fellow NJ newbie! I’ve been going through paralysis by analysis for the past year! I am finally pulling the trigger and currently closing on a deal in Alabama that came through Norada. So far I’ve had a great exchange with one of their advisors Melissa Nash. They always answer my questions no matter how elementary. I’ve not interacted with Marco Santarelli but I suspect they’ve grown as a business and he’s probably more removed from daily operations than he was say three years ago. Norada walked me through initial steps and gave me contacts to reach out to for lending, insurance, and property management. You still have to do leg work and make sure you do your due diligence by looking at other lenders, property managers, etc. I’m learning A LOT by just doing. More so than just researching and reading. There are just so many nuanced scenarios that arise as result of only taking action. Am I still anxious and nervous... heck yeah! The whole purchase agreement process happened so fast I’m still thinking about what I left on the negotiation table! But the math works out and numbers don’t lie if you have factored in all your variables conservatively. There is always risk... but I’m tired of leaving my money in a savings account earning no interest. Happy to field any newbie questions, with the caveat that I absolutely don’t have majority of answers but we can find them out together. Best, Shawn
@Christi Millo Thanks for reaching out. I would love to connect and chat more about your knowledge of area as well as any property managers in your network you recommend. Also interested in any multi-families/larger deals and if there are opportunities in your area.
Hi BP Community! I am closing in on my first rental property in Montgomery AL. I am looking to perform some due diligence in property management research and looking for recommendations of managers in that area. I want to find a great person or team to start to build up my portfolio in said area. Also looking for a savvy manager great at providing monthly reports as I am a long distance investor. Thanks for reading and your time. Best, Shawn

@Mike N. let me know how you make out as I am also building a team, mostly for out of state but would gladly take any referrals through your experience as well.

Hi,

I am new to real estate investing and looking into turn key providers. One company I am researching is Joint Ops Properties in St. Louis. I've not seen any reviews in the Bigger Pocket forum and just looking for feedback from anyone that has had experience with them.

Also please recommend any other turn key providers that would be worth while speaking to. New to game so any insight would be helpful.

Thanks,

Shawn
