Kevin Siedlecki I was able to go look at the property this afternoon. I went with my sisters husband father l. He owns just under 80 units within that area. He has been investing for 40 or so years. He checked out the property and was surprised about the extra lot. He said "I know one thing you won't regret buying this place". The property contains multifamily (2units) 2 two door garages one of which contains running water that he said you turn into studio and make rentable. The open lot itself estimated to be worth just around $100,000. I really feel like it would be a great investment. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the response. Also, great article.

Going to look at my first multifamily tomorrow (2 unit) (I do plan to live there for a couple years). Very popular location with average rent being 1,100-1,300. One thing about this property is that it comes with extra lot that has been approved by the city to build. This makes it more appealing to me especially since I want to become a buy and hold investor. The multifamily is pretty pricey with the lot but I have a feeling it would be a good investment. Any tips please share. Thank you

I actively look at properties and NEVER seem to come across a property that complies with these "rules". What other considerations should I take in account so I don't miss out on property because it doesn't "match". Thank you.

Hello all, My name is Shawn. I recently graduated from pharmacy school and currently working as a pharmacist in the state of Massachusetts. I am 26 years old and plan to buy my first property very soon.. I just want to make sure it's the "right" one. I am still living at home with my parents, but actively looking for duplexes/multifamilies. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I currently have student loans as well. Thank you!
