@Chris Mignone Are you planning on putting an apartment into the property as well?

@Natalie Schanne that is a very weird gauge to determine if someone has money lol.

@Chris Mignone hey thanks for the reply! Are you BRRRing or flipping?

@Andres Baena thanks for the reply. What kind if properties are you planning on investing in??

I'm currently gearing up for my second home purchase and would like to stay local. Is there anyone currently from the LI area investing in Suffolk? If you are, what do you look for? If not, where are you investing?

I have about $150k equity in my home, with a tenant paying half my mortgage. I have a decent salary job ($1xxk+) and the only thing I have in my name is the house and the solar panels attached to it. I have $20k liquid after paying off every piece of debt off.

I was considering getting into a foreclosure with my equity and starting there, but I was wondering if I should wait until I have more liquid money? I'm looking to buy locally and the market is one of the most expensive in the country (LI, NY).

If anyone has invested in LI, what was your experience? Would you do it again?
