Post: PM Stops responding causing some concern

Hey Everyone,

My Property Manager hasn't been responding to any of my communication for over a week.

I've called different numbers, sent multiple emails requesting a response, and have had no luck hearing back.

Without getting into details since this is a public forum, I found out the PM didn't rectify a mistake they said they would which will cause some major issues of concern.

Any suggestions on how to deal with this ?

Do you have any property manager references in Columbus ?

Thank you!

@Dean Harris You are a hard man to get a hold of!!
I've been trying to get a hold of you via phone for the past few weeks and haven't had success -  I expect that you've been very busy fielding investor calls. Ill be visiting your office hopefully and setting up a time to meet you in person should be easier.

Hey fellow BPers,

Im looking to start investing in BRRR & Turn Key in Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR.
Wanted to :
- get thoughts on one vs the other
- in general what people's experiences have been between the two cities for cash flow etc.

Thanks everyone!

@Alex Craig I took your advice and posted on a few FB Groups and had 1 wholesaler reach out. If you have any specific ones in mind, let me know. I've also sent over a connection request since your company operates in both Little Rock (another market I'm interested in) and Memphis.

@Davartay Miller Most definitely agree with what you've said.

@David Hutson I will be attending the July 23rd session in person. Will catch a few sessions virtually before then. Look forward to meeting everyone there.

Hey All,

I'm looking to start investing in Memphis and surrounding areas in BRRR and potentially turn key. I will be visiting Memphis within a month to drive through the various neighborhoods and want to network. I found one Memphis REIA Meetup Group that meets every Friday at "The Butcher Shop". Would appreciate any other recommendations for networking groups etc. Also, happy to connect with any Wholesalers out there.

Cheers!

@Ryan Rush

At the risk of asking a question that's inappropriate given the timing, what advice would you give someone who hasn't started rei yet but is about to begin BRRR?

@Steve Hall wow the suggestion to use search was great. I didn’t even think about others asking the same question. Will use search now before asking a question. Thanks!

100k cash, don’t own other properties, and renting your primary residence. Note: this doesn’t reflect my situation.

@Account Closed Ok that's great to know. Any thoughts on the potential of building an ADU in Dublin, Livermore, or MountainHouse for rental/AirBnB purposes. I would think that the ability to build an ADU would be an advantage of going with an older SFH with a larger lot size as opposed to a similarly priced townhome/condo.

@Michael Strachan

The pros of owning/renting in the Bay Area exactly describes my thought process, so it's great to know someone with experience in the industry has similar thoughts. I do have a long term goal of ownership in mind of 15-30 years.
