@Julie Hill

Atlanta is a great market. Most of my clients book for events and conferences at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC). They have events ALL year round. It’s located downtown Atlanta amongst other tourist attractions too.

@Brandon Singer I’m seeing a few vacation rentals for sale off 600 N Atlantic Ave. Are you able to share any insight on those? Thanks.

@Jame V. Agreed! 90% of my guests are here on business travel. My unit is about 5 mins from Georgia World Congress Center here in Atlanta so that’s the crowd I attract. Almost going on almost 3 years hosting now.

I always do a property inspection with a third party. USREEB is making good on any fixes that came up during the inspection. I will be visiting the market next year as Dayton continues to have job growth, and I want to see it for myself.

Thanks for following up with this update! Very helpful!

@Christopher Toth how’s it going with them now? I’m looking at some of their props but a little skeptical based on the previous review here.

@John Christopher Campbell where are you finding deals in Decatur? I have two rentals there but one was my primary home from ’06-‘08 before renting out then the another condo I just acquired 2 yrs ago. Great work by the way!

@Ali Boone any TKs you’d recommend? I’m looking for MFs. Thanks in advance.

@Clark Jarstfer First off, best of luck to you and kudos to you wanting to start out now. The sooner the better! I started out in RE with my primary home (a condo) in 2008 which is still rented out today. It was truly trial and error. I found a tenant thru word of mouth but it worked out for 4 yrs with them. However, only a few years ago did I start gettIng serious about it. My second rental, I purchased thru my 401k (loan). And from there, I acquired my next rental via subject to earlier this year. All of these are B&Hs. My next move is to acquire MFs thru using a HELOC. So I’m a little bias towards MFs now that it is purely my focus. Again, good luck!
