I'm working on getting my real estate license in California. All I have to do is take and pass the exam. I already work in internal medicine and plan to do real estate on the side (selling minimally) to family and friends for flipping purposes. I still plan on working in my current job M-Th or Friday 7:45am to 3:45pm. What type of broker should I look for that would be okay with my minimal sales production?

Does anybody have any experience investing in a REIT? How much is needed to start investing? Can you invest a small amount monthly? Is it easy to pull from if you wanted to purchase property?

How does one get into selling high end real estate? Is it the broker you work for.  Any tips or trips? I'm an aspiring real estate agent.

You cannot deduct costs associated with obtaining education or attending courses for licensure for a new business or profession.

Hope this helped.

 Thanks @brandon Hall. Very helpful

J Scott - Thank you for the valuable info. I'll take my time and make sure I follow all requirements. And the journey begins.

@Jordan Sizelove. Did you end up going through real estate express and if so what was your experience?
