@Rylan Rock thanks! Yes, the northern half of San Antonio is a really good investment. Downtown may be for those who are comfortable taking bigger risks but there a few sweet spots downtown. I’m not that experienced enough to go for it just yet.

@Rylan Rock it’s been very good so far. It was really easy to lease our home due to the new businesses near the 1604/90 area. It’s really growing there and with it being close to lackland and Medina base it’s a good commute to and from bases and also 20 min from downtown.

Looking to get advise on the San Antonio market. What areas are best to invest in etc etc.. currently renting out a home near lackland AFB and looking to expand/grow portfolio in the area. Fairly new to real estate and I want to make sure I make the best decisions.

@David Pere all help is welcome. We’d really appreciate it!

my husband and i have a home in San Antonio we’re leasing out while stationed here in japan. How do we get started with investing although we aren’t local?

We have a home in San Antonio that was built brand new and we’re stationed in Japan currently. The home is being leased but we’re wondering when would be a good time to refinance to lower the mortgage payments?

Thank you. San Antonio is a great location to start. The home is in a good location to lackland and Medina base

Currently stationed overseas for 3 yrs possibly 4 and as a spouse I’d like to get into real estate but I’m not sure what the best route is or how to do that while constantly on the move. We have a home we purchased that we’re leasing out back in the states but want to expand. Looking for advise to get started..
