yes - that is what he is using. Just the multiple side of the mathematic, instead of dividing by the fraction.

Dave Ramsey didnt get rich by only saving money and eliminating debt. Neither did any other wealthy person. He got rich by selling you his systems to get out of debt. Most wealthy people were wise with eliminating bad liabilities, and being frugal, but also taking risk and leveraging their assets when possible. You need to decide whats good and bad debt, and decide if your willing to take a risk. Calculated Risk = Reward. Sometimes that evil word debt is necessary to get things rolling when you dont have cash. All you can do is educate yourself very thoroughly and minimize the risk and mistakes as much as possible.
