@Dev Horn Thank you so much for this guidance. This helps a lot. I am just worried that I won't find a buyer in the Tallahassee area...I haven't had much luck so far, but I am making an ad on Craigslist tonight. So hopefully that will get some attention.

@James Stevens I understand that I can go ahead and put a house under contract before I have a buyers list, but I just wanted to have more of an idea of the kind of buyers I would be dealing with in my area before I jump into it. So far I have not been able to find any buyers in the Tallahassee area. I plan to attend the local REI Meeting and hopefully make some good connections there.

If you have any other suggestions please feel free to let me know. :)

So, I am trying to get into wholesaling and I am starting off by creating my buyers list. I have a whole list of people that I am going to call to see if they are interested in getting information about houses that I find. I feel pretty confident and ready, but I am wondering what I should say if they ask me what it is that I do. Should I say that I am a "Wholesaler"? Or is there a better term for this that I do not know about?

Any advice is very appreciated. :)

Thank you, in advance,

Okay, so I am super excited to invest in Real Estate. The whole idea of Real Estate (whether its wholesaling, flipping, or just land lording) is so interesting to me. I have done tons of research because I want to make sure I know what I am doing before I jump into it. I am 21 years old and I am ready to start NOW! My plan is to buy a Duplex, Triplex, or Fourplex by August. This will be my first investment and I am super excited!

But here is my dilemma...People keep telling me NOT to buy properties in MY name. They keep saying that I need to put them in a business name that is not able to trace back to me. Is this true? Is this something that I need to be concerned about?

Any advice is very much appreciated. :)

Thank you,
