Seeking Guidance

Okay, so I am super excited to invest in Real Estate. The whole idea of Real Estate (whether its wholesaling, flipping, or just land lording) is so interesting to me. I have done tons of research because I want to make sure I know what I am doing before I jump into it. I am 21 years old and I am ready to start NOW! My plan is to buy a Duplex, Triplex, or Fourplex by August. This will be my first investment and I am super excited!

But here is my dilemma...People keep telling me NOT to buy properties in MY name. They keep saying that I need to put them in a business name that is not able to trace back to me. Is this true? Is this something that I need to be concerned about?

Any advice is very much appreciated. :)

Thank you,

Shanai Inns

@Shanai Inns

There are pros and cons for working within an LLC. Personally, I would not worry about it upfront but would instead spend the money on marketing to locate suitable properties.
