Yes, I guess that podcast #6 with Mr. Garcia is as close to LA as the guys have been able to get. However, Palmdale is about 70 miles away from LA proper LOL. I know that there's investors making it happen in LA proper and it would be nice to hear a podcast with information specific to my market.

Joseph- I just formed an LLC with a broker/attorney good friend of mine who has been flipping distressed properties in the downtown LA vicinity for the last 2 years. We are on the hunt for our first deal and hoping to nail something down by mid July.
It's become very tough to find deals that make sense but I think that is one of the things that's super exciting about or market.

I'll make sure to keep you posted.

BTW- Do you invest in LA? lmk would love to hear about it.

Hi All-

My name is Edgar Stanislavsky and I am a new to Biggerpockets and to the real estate industry as a whole. I am addicted to the podcasts, thursdays are my new favorite day of the week :). I am just wondering why there hasn't been anybody on the podcast that's from LA/Southern Cali. All of the fix and flip, wholesaling, etc. info, tips and strategies are awesome but being new to the game at times I find it hard to imagine how something that works in "Detroit" would work here in my backyard. Can anybody tell me if there's anything in BP that can teach me more about my market? I did a search for LA in BP but not much comes up. Am I missing something?
