Hey everyone!

I have been working in commercial construction since 2001. I have been the lead PM on projects ranging from $5M up to $40M. I currently work as a senior project manager at the largest concrete contractor in the country.

I was thinking of offering my project management expertise & commercial construction experience in exchange for learning more about being a commercial developer from someone that has been in real estate development for awhile.

Obviously the ideal situation would be something I can do part time since I have a day job. If I could get a piece of the project, that would be fantastic but not a deal breaker either way. I just want someone to show me the ropes.

What do you all think of this idea?

I have reached out to three hmls. Got a hold of one & went through the hml profile sheet I found on BP files with them.

The one lender asked me to fill out a form on their site. The site is not secured so I'm not too crazy giving out my info to them.

So I'm still searching. Any recommendations?

Any recommendations for a hard money lender in Atlanta? Mostly for SF flips and SFR's. Thanks for your help!

Hey BP community!

My name is Seth Tandett. I am sorta/kinda new to real estate investing. I rented out my first primary residence for a few years without really knowing what I was doing. It ended badly...so bad, I didn't even really think about investing in real estate for several years....That's until I ran into BP.

Anyhow, I have hit the reset button and am studying up on how to invest in RE the right way. I hang out with folks in the RE world, mostly CRE, and I enjoy learning from the pros.

I am reading the BRRRR book by @David Greene, listening to the podcast and starting to evaluate SFR's or possible flips in Richmond and Tidewater area. My goal is to obtain four properties (one for each kid) to start building my portfolio. Eventually, I would like to pull off some CRE deals.
