Newbie in Richmond, VA

Hey BP community!

My name is Seth Tandett. I am sorta/kinda new to real estate investing. I rented out my first primary residence for a few years without really knowing what I was doing. It ended badly...so bad, I didn't even really think about investing in real estate for several years....That's until I ran into BP.

Anyhow, I have hit the reset button and am studying up on how to invest in RE the right way. I hang out with folks in the RE world, mostly CRE, and I enjoy learning from the pros.

I am reading the BRRRR book by @David Greene, listening to the podcast and starting to evaluate SFR's or possible flips in Richmond and Tidewater area. My goal is to obtain four properties (one for each kid) to start building my portfolio. Eventually, I would like to pull off some CRE deals.
