Hi all,

I’m looking for a reliable insurance broker in the DFW area, ideally with experience in personal and real estate investment insurance. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,

So I'm planning on purchasing a duplex under a conventional or FHA owner-occupied loan. The loan terms state I have to occupy the property for at least year. I don't see myself living in the unit until 8 months from now, when I get married. After which I'd be spending 100% of the time living in the duplex.

Until then, I'd rather just be at home with my parents and airbnb the unit until then, if legal and possible of course.

Is there a way I lease out the duplex say for STR for some of the time without getting into trouble with the loan? What If I decide to STR only the weekends and live there only during the weekdays?

I'm open to any and all suggestions!

How was the process for getting the permits to build convert the living space to the bedroom?

I've been looking the past 3 months and also looking to purchase in the next few months. Went under contract once but inspection came back with all sorts of issues. Still looking. Would love to meet and discuss real estate with you all.

Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase my first investment property in my area, North Texas, in the next few months. I can live in the property but do not have to.

My question is, how can I find and gauge weather or not an agent is investment friendly and has access to off market deals?

Would I be okay with a traditional real estate agent?

Thank you,

Sergio
