Thank you CJ! What are some questions about the foundation and little things about the house I should be asking my agent?

URGENT:

I am going to look at an investment property today that I will be using house hacking for and it is a beautiful house for a good price. I have seen one unit already and today I am going to see the other unit that fortunately already has a tenant, now the house has been on the market for some time, what are the IMPORTANT questions I need to be asking my agent about this house when I go to view it today? Very great ideas to create more income but currently I am a truck driver working 14-16 hours a day 6 days a week driving from Chicago to neighboring states so the little free time I do have I use for research and some rest. I do make good money but as a 23 year old with no assets its difficult for me to get started.

Thank you Eric for your response. I chose Austin because it will be a boomtown for time to come but I am also looking to do the same here in Chicago if its easier and to start off. At some point I would want to make the move to Austin.

Hey everyone, I am based in Chicago, Illinois but I am currently looking at rental investment property in Austin, Texas and I have been in contact with a real estate agent who has told me about some great opportunities only problem I have is the financial part. What are some good things to consider when looking for investors? I want to start having money work for me and not the other way around. I am new and learning and any tips would help, much appreciated!
