@Chris Welch Can you please let me know your experience running the MTR's in the downtown/historic area of Ocala? I am interested in doing MTR's focusing on traveling nurses around HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. I have a few long term rentals and 1 airbnb in other parts of the Ocala. Trying to diversify my portfolio.

I'm in the process of purchasing a home and I plan to put it under a land trust. The trustee will be a LLC and I will be the beneficiary. I'm planning to hire a property management firm to manage the property for me. I understand the trustee (LLC) will sign all documents with the PM company.

With regard to tax, a land trust is a pass-through entity. On the W9 form I provide to the property management company, do I need to provide my name and my SSN? I feel I'm loosing anonymity protection if I put my name on the W9.

I'm buying a property subject to the existing VA loan. Does anyone know if I can get a title insurance? The wholesaler said the title company will not be able to issue title insurance. Not sure why.

Hi Everyone,

I own10 properties right now and wanted to get an umbrella insurance. GEICO and Allstate said they can't offer umbrella insurance for me due to the number of units I have. Can someone recommend an insurance agency? I have properties in NJ, NY, GA, FL and MO.

Thank you!

@Lisa Melquist I'm looking for umbrella recommendations as well. Could you share your experience?

@Jonathan Greene I'm interested in your meetup. Can you please share the details here when it's established?

I have a two family house in Montclair. House hacking. Interested in seeing how others make investment in this town. It's so hard to cash flow due to high tax and overbidding especially when it come to multi-family houses. It might work if you are looking for appreciation. I'd love to connect.
