Hello all! I'm a new investor looking to get enough money for being able to put down payments on rentals for buy and hold. I'm going to be moving to SoCal in January 2018. Could anyone tell me the legality of wholesale without a license in CA? Thanks!

Hello all! Newbie here still studying and hoping to get started in REI when I move to SoCal in Jan 2018. I'm mainly looking into house hacking when I get there to get some cashflow before I start getting into rentals and other areas of REI. Is this a good way to start in or would wholesale be the way to go? Also, is there a legal way to practice wholesale in CA without a license? Thanks!
