Crazy how many people on here get their units stolen. I can't imagine the nerve people have to go and steal such an item. It's obvious all of you should use pex instead of copper when you can and when you can't you just need to get those walls closed up as fast as possible and find ways to prevent people from getting inside. Main thing is closing up the walls. Work long extra hours side by side with you contractor, pay him extra to work long hours to get the walls closed. Out smart the dumb crooks and you will be better off.

How does that work with the moisture issue. From my understanding, the old houses were designed to breathe. And without this airflow the can be water/mold/rot issues.

Does the house have soffit for the attic to breath and also allow the walls to vent?

A house can be sealed tight as long as it has a good mechanical ventilization system to keep air movement for the people living inside.

It's great for web browsing and email, and of course the tons of apps, which are somewhat useful, but web & email dominate my usage. My favorite app is probably Dropbox. Synchs my files between my office computer and home office computer and laptop, and makes them available on iPhone and iPad. Awesome.

Same here about BP and the "@ mentions" don't work. I feel so much more efficient with it and I love Dropbox too.

What you call a small furnace is the water boiler for the baseboard heat

Seems like this deal gets better and better for you.

Hope it all works out.

I'll take a look on there for apps.

So who else uses their ipad for work, play, both?

So the wife got me an Ipad 4 for Christmas. Who else has an ipad? Has it help your business? Is it just for fun? I use mine in my construction business for clients to sign contracts. Show pictures of work. E-mail and so on.

I figured it would easily help myself and you guys to have punch list for homes. Put inspections on your calendar so you don't forget. Maybe keep track of you paid you their rent and who didn't. Keep contacts ect.

Please share your uses and favorite apps!
