@Lieren Schuette

BlockFi, Gemini Exchange offer 8-9% interest on stable (pegged) crypto coins.

@Nathan G. In my experience, it depends upon your audience. A fair number of folks have no interest in hearing about success and don’t want to be told how to achieve wealth. They’re content as-is, and that’s their prerogative.

I enjoy talking money and investments with like-minded folks, and gravitate towards those people…And then tone it down around others. Folks like the ones in this thread are probably driven to an extent not representative of the mainstream.

Congrats on your achievements!

@Amy Raye Rogers. Check out the All the Hacks podcast and The Points Guy.

You can open up personal cards in both your name and, if applicable, your SO. And you can open up biz cards.

The Southwest cards are great as they offer free companion tickets for each card holder after meeting the initial spending criteria (it’s BOGO for points and if you pay).

@Peter J Struck. Echo what others said. Check local code/requirements. Different locals have different requirements.

@Brian Eastman. FWIW, I use Brian and he’s been great (always answers my questions promptly and in detail, and does a fair amount of hand holding, which I have needed). I’ve used my SDIRA for syndications and crypto.

@Adam Widder. Stablecoins earn about 9% annual yield via BlockFi or Gemini. Their pegged to the US Dollar. With a few more steps you can get anchored UST that earns roughly 20% APY, auto compounded.

Would love to join, but we’re out of town. Hope to see more of these. Perhaps we could meet up next time I’m in town.

@Antonios Kranidis

It may not seem like it now, but college is a relative blip in your lifespan. Having a structural/civil engineering degree opens you up to a wide array of career options. I have my degree in civil engineering, went on to own a business, and am now a full-time investor. It’s up to you decide. FWIW, the hardest engineering courses are (generally) over in the first couple years. And you should get to take more electives as you head into you last couple years. There are also engineering/architectural and construction management degrees that lean heavily into the real estate realm if that piques your interests.

Best of luck!
