I recommend Bob Collett for turnkey/OOS. I've been very happy with him as my Prop Mgr in 44118.

Hi, Mags S.  Wondering if you could share what insurers are giving you coverage on K&T houses?  I'm looking for reasonably-priced insurance for my K&T (with upgraded 100A ckt breaker boxes) duplex in Ohio.  Thanks!

Are there insurance companies who are NOT a pain in the a$$ about knob & tube?  If so, PLEASE list them in this forum, so I can stop calling a hundred insurance reps.  I will start the list with 1 insurance company that does cover my knob&tube:

USAA

Thanks, y'all!

Anyone using Shoreway Realty (Cleveland, OH) as their Property Manager?  I have heard good things, but looking for BP personal testimony.  Any other great PM's in Cleveland for out-of-area investors?  I prefer a personal touch, not just an automated website to deal with as an owner.  Thx!

I’ve had a great experience buying a duplex (2x 3br/1ba) from out of state with Michael Azzam (Re/Max).  They will be my PM as well, AND they have a high rating with the BBB. That’s important to me. Good luck and happy hunting!

Post: Easy To Find Renters In Tremont?

I see good turn-key duplexes for sale in Tremont with very promising numbers.  So my only question is:  is there any reason these wouldn't rent?  Does anybody own duplexes in this area, or know how the rental climate is in Tremont?  Any info appreciated!
