Rental Properties / Knob & Tube Wiring
Long time lurker, first time post. I have question for landlords about knob & tube wiring. I am a somewhat new landlord, just 2 properties, and in the process of purchasing one now. The one I am in the process of purchasing is an older house (1920's) and does have the knob & tube wiring, no insulation. My question is, how many properties do you own that have this type of wiring. I know this type of wiring is not preferred and can be dangerous however I also hear that there are numerous homes that still have this type of wiring with no issues. I have gathered a ton of info from past post however I am curious how many you own. Can I get some insight?
Thanks,
Michael

I have houses with the K&T wiring and hasn't been an issue. I don't plan to upgrade either.
