Amazon has some real estate flash cards. I don't know how good they are. The reviews are mixed. My wife and I decided to pick them up because they were $10, there's a ton of cards, and we are still very new to real estate investing. Our biggest focus is vocabulary learning.

Welcome Chase! I'm new here as well and in the same stage of learning and networking. I've been a web designer and consultant for years now, and have enjoyed it, but now I'm for a career change.

Out of curiosity, how regularly do these get togethers happen? Are they ever held on days other than Tuesday and Thursday? Thanks for putting it together and sharing the info! :)

Hello from Utah! My wife and I recently came across biggerpockets and are excited that we found it. I have wanted to get started in investing for a long time and have been slowly learning about it for awhile now. We've been stayting out of debt, living below our means and doing what we can to be ready. I've already learned a lot about different ways to get started. So far biggerpockets has been a huge leap in our education!
We are in the Layton area, and I commute to Riverton every day. We are anxious to start networking and learning what we can do to bring value to others. We love helping others, it's our driving passion for everything we do.
Right now we are in the prep stage of setting specific goals. We could use some help in this regard - suggestions for books, podcasts, etc would be very welcome. We are also learning what we can setup so that when we find our first deal we are ready to jump on it!
Are there meetups in the area where we can start meeting people? If so, when are they and where are they?
