So if you had $250k cash to work with, would you look for SFR, MFR, or apartments? This would be a buy and hold situation in the Fort Worth/Dallas area. Looking for something to supplement our retirement. Thanks, Scott

Post: Do you use a LLC for every deal regardless if it's a SF, MF...

I currently have 2 SFR and am searching for my third one.

I do have equity in everything.

Should I buy the rest of my properties within a LLC per deal?

Who would y'all recommend in the Dallas Fort Worth area for this service?

I'm also looking for a CPA that understands real estate taxes.

Thanks for the help,

Scott

I'm looking for a CPA in the DFW (prefer Fort Worth) area that has a lot of experience as a CPA but also loves REI personally.

I'm willing to pay whatever they charge to be able to learn more about taxes in general, but more so about RE taxes.

I have two SF rentals, looking for more and want to be sure I'm setting my business  up correctly.

Thanks in advance,

Scott (sw ftw)

thank you for all of the great responses.

My original goal was to end up with approximately 10 SFH to supplement my retirement, but now that I have a couple in the works, I'm open minded to all aspects of RE.

I will definitely use some of the equations above to look at my situation.

Thanks again!

Scott

just wanting to get BP people's opinion on what way is the best route to go with regards to buying RE with leveraging or getting properties paid off as soon as possible and why?

I currently have two SF rentals and my goal is to pay off the first one as fast as possible (within the next 24 months), then hammer down on the next one while looking for my third one and so on... My goal is to be able to pay one off every 24-48 months...

Thoughts?

Thanks from Fort Worth TX
