I have a female tenant that sweats someone is trying to break in her front door. The building is in a decent area where there is not a lot of crime. The doors all have secure deadbolts and really no one is getting in. I am not sure if I even believe her? The police have been called and are aware. There appears to be no damage to the door at all. The tenant is requesting a camera be installed. I many advice? Thanks

Anyone installed A/C units outside of a four family flat before ? Also how do you ensure they are secured and won't get stolen? I have a property that has window a/c units now. I want to upgrade in the next year or two. Thanks and I am new to rentals. Scott

Adding another bathroom will improve the property value. We are refinishing a basement and adding a bathroom near the stack directly below the main floor bath. This will help rental income and resale in the long run. So yes do it if u can.

Hi, I am new to bp but like the site a lot. I have a four unit building with window a/c units in each of the units. I would like to install central air for each of the four units. The building already has furnaces so vents are in shape. I would also like to raise the rent by $50 a month for three of the tenants to offset the costs for this upgrade. What's the best way to pose this to my renters? They are under a 12 month lease for their current monthly rent. Thanks Scott
