@David Avery, thanks for the intel!

Do you think with mortgage forbearance (possibly) ending this year - do you have any thoughts on where house availability/pricing and deals might go? I know a lot of investors are selling out of properties/stocks etc waiting for foreclosures.

Any thoughts here?

I do not at the moment. I haven’t decided about the move yet so this is the first step -

I do have a network of investors/agents here in Austin as I founded and am a coorganizer for the InvestHer community Austin chapter. However not in the Phoenix market.

Hi y’all!

Austin Investor here!

I currently own a house in Austin TX and am thinking about relocating to Phoenix Arizona. I would rent out my house in Austin to purchase a new primary residence in Phoenix within the next 6 months.

I’ve been reading several posts/forums about the state of the market in Phoenix. With low inventory levels and house prices on the rise - thoughts on buying in the current market? Predictions on the future market?

Will the CARES act/mortgage forbearance play a role in Phoenix’s market in the 6 months-1 year?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Wondering if there’s a platform to purchase fractional notes for non accredited investors. Looking to learn more about investing in this space via a platform, sales tax liens via a platform and other crowdsourcing real estate vehicles via a tech platform. Is there something out there for this? Any thoughts would be helpful!

She started her career strictly focused on marketing, working for a regional hospitality company located in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2011, she transitioned to marketing manager for one of the top 100 self storage operators where she was responsible for marketing facilities across multiple states. Finding the industry fascinating and realizing there was so much untapped potential, she wanted to learn more about the operational side of the business. She sought out the opportunity to run day-to-day, facility level marketing and operations for multiple other large self storage operators. In 2018 she left the corporate world to launch FineView Marketing, a full-service marketing agency focused on working with small and mid-sized self storage operators. And in 2019 she created FineView Investments, a real estate investment company focused on the acquisition of self-storage facilities. With her partners, Christina owns two self storage facilities in the Austin, TX metro area totaling approximately 820 units and 121,000 rentable square feet.

Come join us for the first InvestHER Meetup group of year! We will be hosting Kaylee McMahon "The Apartment Queen" at our January meetup group. Kaylee will be discussing how to get started in multifamily investing, how to find/analyze deals and funding options available for multifamily investing.

Kaylee has purchased over 2 million in real estate as key principle. She has sold over 3 million dollars in residential real estate before transitioning into her current full time syndication role. Originally from Portland Oregon, Kaylee is a co-host on KVGI radio “The Drive”. She has started a podcast called #1 leading ladies where she interviews kick-*** women who are disrupting their industry and the REAL story of how they got where they are.

Kaylee has done home flipping, as she feels that to be truly confident in giving advice to clients about buying/selling/flipping/investing in Real Estate one should NEVER take advice from someone who has never gone through these things themselves.

Kaylee has completed continuing education in home comparables, appraisals, real estate investor representation, investment and wealth creation, legal 1&2, investor representation, marketing and web development for real estate companies, apartment value add strategies, syndication methods with Joe Fairless, apartment mastery boot camps with Rod Khleif, Rat-race to retirement seminars with the Sumrok group, she's constantly reading on negotiation tactics, how to buy and flip business' which are sick and much more. She has completed GRI Marketing for sellers, GRI is the graduate institute for realtors and is a distinction that shows Kaylee is committed to the success of getting you top dollar on your investments.

The entire backbone of what gets Miss Kaylee out of bed everyday is her “why”. This is something she will share when asked personally about it, but at a 30,000 foot view it is to create independence and space for those experiencing codependency and toxic relationships which hamper their ability to visualize and then manifest what their amazing reality truly could be. Her company culture models this why and is “Changing the face of multifamily” to bring more women into the light as powerhouse operators, key principles, and commercial brokers!
