Hey Don, thanks for your reply!

I see, that tends to make sense, although very unfortunate in my situation and interest. With that said, do you know of any creative solutions to myself getting into buy & hold investing with non-traditional financing?

What is the longest term a private lender will offer? I can always refinance.

Let me know!

Hey BP Community,

I am just getting started in the RE investing world and my current & prospective strategy is to buy & hold properties for cash flow. I have found several private lenders who specialize in short-term (fix & flip) loans but have struggled to find private lenders who do longer term loans for those who like to buy & hold. Any suggestions here?

Thanks,

Sawyer

Hi BP community,

My name is Sawyer! I thought I would introduce myself to you peeps and say how excited I am to start my journey into the world of real estate.

I'm definitely a new investor as I only graduated from college a year ago and immediately dived into buying a house (of course a little naively and completely without my parents blessing haha). Although it took me 6 months to identify a house that made sense and pick up a home off Fannie Mae, it has been well worth it. I now live there for free by renting out two of the rooms and living in the third. The process to get there was far from easy but that is what I love about it, the challenge is exciting,  you learn a lot, and the rewards can be amazing...which is all why I fell in love with it all.

I'd love to hear from you guys & gals how you started off and what your experience has been (both good & bad) in your journey. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and am always game to meet up and chat if you are ever in the area.

Peace Out,

Sawyer
