If a husband wants to add his wife’s name to the ownership of the house in case anything happens to him, what is the process for that & is there a fee?

If a first time homebuyer purchased a home, finished closing, walkthrough done, inspections done, already moved in, and maybe a month or two later noticed one of rooms was missing a smoke detector and there was no hole in the ceiling like everything was finished & built. Except the builder maybe "forgot" to place a smoke detector?

 My question is who's fault is this, the buyer, inspector, agent, builder...?  & what would be the solution for this?

@Joseph Cacciapaglia

Well I’m thinking my primarily target market will be first time homebuyers as a start off then maybe do high end properties or working with investors later on.

Where do most new agents start off?

I went to a virtual career fair & have some brokers to choose from.

Just wanted to see thoughts, opinions & experiences on some of these brokers to see if it’s a right fit for me.

I’m looking for a broker that will be there for me but at the same time offer me things that will help me succeed & make myself a better agent if needed. Trainings, mentorships & etc.

1. Keller Williams

2. RE/Max

3. JP & Associates

4. eXp

5. New Western Acquisitions

6. Berkshire Hathaway

From TX here,

Just getting started in this industry and I am excited.

I’ve absorbed a lot of info from my classes instructors that I took to help me to prepare to get my license. But of course in any industry, especially this one there is something new & something new to learn everyday.

I have a couple questions and are open to any tips & advice. What and how should I be prepared for in this industry? How do I be a successful real estate agent? What makes a successful real estate agent? What are the ups & downs as well as challenges? What can I do or where can I go (online websites, videos, podcasts or books) to help me understand the market and the industry better? Tips on networking & getting clients.

Thanks so much. Looking forward to reading all the great info y’all will have for me!
