Hi everyone,

I am struggling to network with people in my Phoenix area since any of the meetups I come across are all virtual or webinars.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions how I can do better networking during this time of no face to face interactions?

Thank you for the advice!

I am wondering the same thing here in the Phoenix area! As I am gearing up to buy my first house it really doesn't feel like a smart time to be buying. I don't know what to make of a market seeing a home sold in 2016 for 200k now being listed for 330k. What does a first time home buyer do in such a competitive and bolstered market that really wants to own their own home?

Hi I was hoping for advice on how to find the best mortgage broker to work with for investors? I am looking to buy my first home in Phoenix, AZ. I plan to live in the home 1-2 years and then rent it out from there.

@Cody Barna thanks for your response. My first thought is buying a single family home, but I am also not opposed to the idea of house hacking living in one of the units of a duplex or fourplex. There are just so many strategies, I'm not sure where to start.

My wife and I are based here in Phoenix, AZ and we have been saving up money. We now want to buy our first home as well as start investing in real estate. There is fear due to the lack of knowledge and experience, so I was hoping to find groups, but more optimistically a mentor to help us on this journey. Is there anyone out there willing to connect and take on a protege or point me in the right direction?

Thanks so much everyone!

Hi everyone,

I am very interested in starting my investment career and buying properties, but I am getting hung up on finding the right deals. Are there any wholesalers in the Phoenix/Deer Valley area in Arizona?

@Corby Goade @Bob Okenwa @Irina Belkofer

Thank you for the advice. It makes sense how agents would tire of this and I would want to respect their time as I am new to the investing world and I would like to make low ball offers to ensure my first deal is a successful one. Thanks again for the assistance!

Hi,

I am trying to start out in my investment journey in Phoenix, AZ. Does anyone have any good advice how to get started finding deals? I was wondering about when using real estate agents and finding potential deals off of the MLS, how are you able to make multiple offers on multiple different properties to see if one lands? Or is there a different strategy when working with agents?

Thanks so much!

Hi I am new to investing so I have a good amount of general questions (some probably dumb). One question is: Are you able to purchase from a wholesaler using a conventional or FHA loan?

it was real easy for my city. I just went to my city hall in Whittier, CA and told them I was looking for properties with code violations on them not knowing how they would respond. they were actually really helpful and told me sure that's public information you just need to fill out a public records request and well print out all the properties with c.v's and have them ready for you in a week.
