@Alex Wise there is an Airbnb STR group of Columbus and Cincinnati based investors that meets through Central Ohio Real Estate Investors Association (2nd Friday of the month online). Columbus is a great market for Airbnb.

I have a vacation rental elsewhere and long term in Cincinnati. I have been looking at buying an existing STR in West coast of Florida the last couple of years but the gross and returns are less than I am used to with my investments, so not all STR are equal.

Are you looking for software or are you interested in recording what you do and automating to onboard an intern?

I am interested. I invest in Cincinnati, northern KY, central KY. I have single family, multi-family, vacation rental and lending experience.  I am interested in Cincinnati, central KY, Tampa/St Pete/Bradenton, Detroit and Huntsville, Alabama.  I will also send a DM for FB group and invite to DJ/Zach.

@Tim Ryan do you have a site you recommend? I have heard you can “airbnb” office space in your home in an app but haven’t been anle to find the site.

I invest in student rentals and it is a little different than regular long term rentals which may give you an advantage in the numbers if you market works like ours. I would be happy to talk with you. Also, do you have a local REIA with other student rental Investors in that area perhaps looking to partner?

Get a property mgr or at least a virtual assistant. If you sell, some strategies that require less tenant and property time are notes, apartment syndication, private lending or lease options (you are just the bank). Definitely DM me if you just want someone to talk it through with.

I also like the Walnut Hills area with the new breweries and its walkability, proximity to Eden Park, downtown and the river.
