Any Real Estate attorneys want to take on a Defamation Case against Spectrum News?

My tenant, who has not paid rent in 10 months, went to the newspaper with lies regarding my attempts to evict her from the house.

I was not contacted by the journalist.  And this article makes multiple false claims that I acted in an illegal manner.

@Ken Wang - I would highly recommend looking into the West Dallas markets.  I specifically invest in parts of Oak Cliff/West Dallas.  75211 and 75224 are within 10 minutes of UTSW and still have good cash flow. I am licensed as well and would be happy to help.

David, are you building it or are you repurposing an existing building?

And by rule abiding nancies I mean limiting and restraining themselves and their agents with undue interpretations and fear.  Always follow the rules. As a business owner, you make the rules.  As an agent, you make no rules and follow everyone else's.

My advice, I am a real estate agent, and investor who will wholesale my rights to buy a property.

See the way I worded that?  You do not want to be party to a wholesale as an agent.  Your broker, will likely discourage you from wholesaling because they dont understand it. And most real estate agents and retail brokers are rule abiding nancies.

You need to establish an LLC. Go under contract to purchase as that LLC with a sales contract that says "Busines Name LLC and or assigned" as the buyer.

Then you assign the contract to the new buyer with an assignment form.  Use an investor friendly title company.  All this can be done without being on the radar of your license.  Which is totally and fully legal.   A business is allowed to contract a property and then sell its rights to purchase for a fee.

I am in Dallas as well, if you need help moving a contract give me a holler.

I just started using Stessa, and immediately stopped.... I got the impression that Stessa was going to utilize info from Zillow, and I must assume it goes both ways...

What particularly stopped me is inputting my property values.  I know what my property is worth and have recently got an appraisal on a certain triplex.  It appraised at 600k... but it is taxed at $285k currently.  I am not about to upload info for my own vanity.  surely the tax office will be increasing on me eventually... but I am hesitant to contribute to their usable data should I protest...

Thoughts?

Yes same reason they lobby against uber. Free market produces better products. Government impedes.

Don't you love massive government intervention.
