I have been looking to expand my area of possible investments around KC (due to the market being so hot). I am curious if anyone has tools / tricks to determine if there are many rentals in certain neighborhoods and how to find what other landlords are charging for rent.

Thanks!

Hi! I am looking at adding a full or half bath to a 3Bed/1Bed single family. I was wondering if any bigger pockets members have done this and have any advice. Did it increase the homes value? How much did the bathroom addition cost?

Thanks!
Sam

Post: Months Looking and NO DEAL... Switch to Foreclosures?

I have been looking for months on the MLS for a single fam/small multi family for a "House Hack". I recently switched my train of thought to looking for foreclosed homes. Does anyone have experience/success looking for foreclosed homes over the MLS market? Where is the best place to start looking for foreclosed homes, and how different is it buying a foreclosed home vs one on the MSL?

Thanks all!

Hello Bigger Pockets Community,

I know that it is most preferable to buy a property with cash for the best result in BRRRR. But I was wondering if anyone has found success doing the BRRRR method with a financing option? If so, do you have any tips / advice?

Would greatly appreciate hearing experiences from others!
Thanks
