Hey Kyle, I own a rental in Monroe WI and will be buying 2 more this year. The RE taxes compared to Freeport are actually cheaper than Monroe, the duplex I own I pay over 3k a year in taxes for a tax accessed value of 130k. I can't attest to references on anybody as I do my own managing but I will say that Monroe is a great rental market, and I plan on investing much more here and surrounding areas.

So he's been your tenant for 10 years and he's always paid? I would keep him. He needs motivation, not a kick while down, if he was not paying then I could understand wanting him out.

I am new here and this is my first post, my husband and I are very interested in real estate and right now have a mortgage on a duplex that we house hack. We are planning on doing some rent to own deals to build capital and do some other flipping and that are wondering if that income would count as repayment for the loan. Any advise will be welcomed.
