@Jake Andronico great story! I would be living with my wife and 2 year old so some of that plan maybe changed. Do you mind expanding on how you attained closing cost and down payment? That is the issue I am having now as my wife and I have great paying jobs and just cleared all our debt. Now the issue of attaining liquid cash.

I am starting my first househacking deal this year and I will Segway that into my second deal by end of 2025.

I would love to hear all you experts and pros with experience to tell your story. If you are in the Seattle market the better, even better in the burien market, but all are absolutely welcome because no matter where the project is, a house is a house.

looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Hello, my name is Sal. (SEATTLE AREA)

I have been on the sidelines watching and studying for the past couple months and I feel that I am prepared and ready to pounce on my first deal. That being said, I would love to build my network and have plenty of conversations with as many people as I can just to understand the Seattle market specifically South Seattle Burien Area. If you're in this area, please reach out. I would love to have a conversation with you.

let's build our network and potentially be future partners with each other.

A beers and/or coffee is on me.

@Joe Cassandra

I should clarify and change my initial request. I meant rehab rental homes. I want to know how to do the cosmetics of it myself.

@Evan Polaski

That makes sense. I appreciate the alternative point of view. It sheds new light on flipping for me.

@Max T.

Hello Max, I should have clarified. I don’t want to flip them I just want to renovate them as much as possible by myself to save on the bottom line. I am going to keep them and rent them out.

So technically, it’s realtor and landlord.
