Thanks guys!
Ali Boone Hey Ali, I would most likely be using a PM at first and then I would maybe consider to transitioning to more of an on call handyman after getting a feel for the tenant but that all depends on the location and property type of course.
Marco Santarelli I know eh :) I do know there are some bad neighborhoods out there but I would definitely get some primary research from the local police desk sergeant on the streets that interest me I think that's the best way to really find out what's happening in the micro market! I also find Trulia crime maps to be a good "first" analysis on the subject.
David Niles Yep the prices are crazy out here! Looks like we might be following in your footsteps with a crash of our own sometime soon or at least a nice dip in prices that's when I'll think about investing here again.
I was in Buffalo the other week just driving the streets to get a feel for some of the neighborhoods and its a great little town I find, the only uncertainty is the job situation. How do you find it?

Hey guys I am a new member here, I registered a while back but am now going to be more active on this website as I think its absolutely amazing! My name is Denis I am from Toronto, Canada and like many Canadians am interested in investing in the states right now as the prices are much more affordable than they are out here. I am looking to buy, rehab and sell properties turnkey to other Canadian investors as well as buy and hold properties for myself. I've been reading a whole lot of articles on BP and they are very informative I also very much enjoy listening to the podcasts. Thanks to everyone who shares their wisdom and experiences on BP its very good to know there are so many people willing to help on here and good luck to you all!
