Shaun C. that was my thinking as well. Spending $200-$300 on a tree, a couple of bushes and mulch would go a long way. If it gets me an extra $50/month in rent then it is just a smart business move. I think I would have to commit to watering them myself for the first 4-6 weeks and then hopefully they can take care of themselves. Trim the hedges every quarter and replace mulch every 1-2 years.
