Post: Rehab Cost

Hello Everyone, quick question.

So I have a good looking auction coming up starting at $110,000 with comps around 250-320,000. When using an investor, how do you go about getting the rehab costs covered also. Seeing as though you won't know the actual cost of repairs until you get the house? Also, how much do you pay back your investor?

Thanks so much!

@Michael Reyes

That's awesome, thank you for your service! And I agree, it's never to late!

Thanks @Todd Fithian, I thought you could only use the VA loan for a one time use? Is there any other military incentives that have helped your investing?

@Mark Pedroza Thank you Mark! I am excited to dive into all of the forums and start learning.

Hello everyone,

I am currently in the Air Force, but am separating at the end of August and will be returning back home to Southern California. I am extremely interested in investing in real estate. I am currently trying to soak in as much information as I can, certainly before diving in. I am reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and just started listening to BiggerPockets podcasts, lots of great info. I am excited to join BiggerPockets and hope to learn from successful investors!
