Hi BP Fam!

I just wanted to post and introduce myself.

My name is Ryan Montes, and I am a branch manager with Change Home Mortgage, based out of Anaheim Hills, CA.

I have been a part of the BP community for years and want to help here as a resource to your lending questions!

I have been originating for the past 10 years- and have been in the industry for the last 12 years.

Please feel free to reach out and ask questions about lending, whether it is for your first time primary SFR or if you are a seasoned investor looking to add another property to your portfolio!

I look forward to connecting with everyone!

I live in Southern California and am a W2 employee.

I own my primary property and one investment property. (I intend to expand my portfolio? I am looking for a real estate savvy CPA. To help maximize tax savings- I am getting crushed on my W2 income, and my current cpa doesn’t seem to make many adjustments with my properties owned. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has used this company or heard of them?

If so, what was the experience like? What were the upsides/downsides you encountered?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@Anthony White what made you choose the Memphis market? Did you know anything about that market prior to purchasing there?

Hi All,

I recently heard about a site called Fundrise. It looks to be a site where you give them money and they create a share in a real estate portfolio for you. Has anyone used anything like this before? Can this be an actual avenue of investment? It seems a little to easy as a way to hop into real estate investing.

Looking for feedback. Thanks so much!!
