@Account Closed In terms of amount of money I'm not really sure. I'm just trying to put this money to use and make as much as possible from it.

- Time? I have a lot of it throughout the day. So if there was a way to make good money from this I can devote most of the day to it.

- Target date? 6-12 months maybe? I'm not trying to say I want to make 500k in 6 months from this. But I thought maybe shorter term hard money type loans? Not 100% sure yet though. Just trying to think of some creative options.

- I have a decent amount of knowledge of long term buy and hold options in RE just from lurking BP for years. But don't know much for short term creative options besides loaning as a HML.

- Don't know what I can or can't do to be honest. Willing to do whatever's possible for me to reach the goal though.

- Always willing to learn

Well as the title suggests what are some creative ways you'd use 200k to make some decent money from? I saw a lot of great ideas and suggestions on this post here:

It was a great post but it was over 6 years ago so I wanted to get some more current ideas and opinions.

I'm not really concerned about long term wealth at the moment so investing in a couple SFHs or things like that aren't really what I was looking for. I'm going to be facing a lot of medical expenses within the coming years so I'd love to be able to put this money I have to use in shorter term options in real estate.

In the post I linked I really liked some ideas mentioned of being a sort of hard money lender or shorter term things like that but I'm a complete beginner so I'm no expert in all this. Just trying to find some current creative ways to put this money to work. Thanks BP.
