@Brian Ploszay Hey Brian thanks for the message. Yes I do live in a very small town. The jobs I’m speaking of are in Bloomington. I’m 28 years old with 5 years of experience managing my own properties.

I’m looking at starting a career in property management and am seeking advice on large apartment building management. A top 50 investment company has a few positions open (Regional Manager, Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager) to which I’ll be applying. I have no experience with large multi family apartments but I do with small and single family. (1-4 plex, 6 single family) My wife and I have done all the leasing and 90% of the rehab and maintenance ourselves.

Where can I go for more information on managing large multi family properties? What books or podcast do you recommend? Thank you!

Our loan officer is offering to open a HELOC under 2 of our first properties that are almost completely paid off. From what I understand we can purchase a house and then later put it on a typical note and pay back the HELOC and then repeat the process? I'd love some advice on how anyone has used this strategy and any tips they may have after using this product. Thanks!
