Hi, everyone! My name is Ruby and I am new to real estate investing. I always was interested but never took the leap: fear of failure, never the right time, no money, etc. All excuses!

I grew up in Philadelphia, worked in law offices-Legal Administrative/Secretary and still want more in life. I want to invest in real estate but never knew where to start. Started reading How to Invest in Real Estate, and really like this book so far. I found Bigger Pockets about a year ago and I did not take the time to really dive into it, until now.

I am interested in flipping houses, but I am really leaning towards owning rentals properties. However, I know there are many different avenues in real estate investing so I’ll be reading up on those and networking as much as I can.

Looking forward to speaking, maybe even meeting some of you in the very near future!

Okay, I'm one of those people who dreamt of becoming a real estate agent, owning properties and living a good life with financial freedom. Well that didn't happen. I kept putting it off and before I knew it, 20 years has passed me by!

I have just started reading this book, signed up on the Bigger Pockets Website and will no longer make excuses, or keep putting this off because I don't want to look back anymore and thing: What if?

So far, this book is an easy read, informative and I am going to get out there and do this! This was step 1: knowledge is power and reading this book is helping me move forward.

Next, networking, get a property and do not look back!

Any suggestions from other new and experienced investors, etc. on how to to keep moving forward from here?
