Ruby (newbie) here in Philadelphia, PA

Hi, everyone! My name is Ruby and I am new to real estate investing. I always was interested but never took the leap: fear of failure, never the right time, no money, etc. All excuses!

I grew up in Philadelphia, worked in law offices-Legal Administrative/Secretary and still want more in life. I want to invest in real estate but never knew where to start. Started reading How to Invest in Real Estate, and really like this book so far. I found Bigger Pockets about a year ago and I did not take the time to really dive into it, until now.

I am interested in flipping houses, but I am really leaning towards owning rentals properties. However, I know there are many different avenues in real estate investing so I’ll be reading up on those and networking as much as I can. 

Looking forward to speaking, maybe even meeting some of you in the very near future!

Justin thank you for the links. I am still looking around this site and seeing so much information being offered and it is great to see how people are really helping each other become knowledgeable. 
I will make sure to do the same in the future for others staring out like myself.
