I too would like to hear a little more about this. I should have a decent amount of equity and I have good reserves for a down. 

Congrats on your investments so far Sharika! I would love to chat with you about how you got going as it seems like you're on the path I would like to see myself on eventually. Of course, I understand not competing for the same properties so I'm more just looking to talk and learn some basics.

Michael, I am wanting to learn more about finding these properties as people talk about auctions and I don't really know what's involved in that or how you find out about them. Is the process harder to buy foreclosure/short sale? I hear it can take a while. Just want to have some base knowledge so I can determine if I want to go the route of buying those types of properties or to stay away haha. 

Aloha! I am looking to learn more about investing in residential and possibly commercial real estate. I currently own 2 properties and I am looking to buy a 3rd with at least 2 rentals. I'd like to learn more about buying foreclosures/short sales and flipping. Look forward to meeting local people here in Hawaii.
