NOCREI kicks off 2021 with one of the hottest topics in Real Estate Investing: Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) with Seth Phillips.

ADUs offer homeowners and investors opportunity to add value to their properties by optimizing existing space. The end results are called in-law suites, guesthouses, apartment space among others names.

This virtual meeting is focused on the potential investor returns available through the latest state laws regarding ADU's. Single-family homeowners can now add TWO ADU's and multifamily property owners can add THREE or MORE ADU's that could double their cash flow.

Hello @Patrick Pierre.  NOCREI announced a few weeks ago that it would NOT MEET on March 31st in an attempt to protect its members, their families and our community from COVID-19 spread.  Subsequently, an executive order was issued in California requiring people to stay at their place of residence except essential service providers.

With or without the order, we all need to do our part to not spread the virus which includes avoiding environments like REI meetups. I would question the motive of any group promoting in-person meetings in the midst of this pandemic. There are countless articles, podcasts, and forums here on BP to support your education needs.

NOCREI has been going strong for 4 years and when safe, we’ll be back!
